I, Douglas Travis, am seeking re-election to continue my role as your Victorian representative, offering you an effective voice that puts words into actions to achieve successful outcomes for doctors. Why? Because as an Avant board member I advocate to:

• Help you immediately when in medical legal trouble. We have a 24 hour medico legal phone service.
• Give you financial security to pay out whatever damages occur free of sunset clauses.
• Provide quality protection to protect your interests and mitigate damage.
• The lowest fair sustainable premium.
• Offer additional services to meet arising needs to assist doctors and your practices.

Achievements of 4 years on the board

• Contributed to Avant’s successful long term plan to provide financial and repetitional security.
• Negotiated fair and reasonable premiums that maintain long term financial security.
• Returned money to members through the Retirement Rewards Program and continuing to grow and strengthen the program.
• Instrumental in the development, roll out of and maintenance of high quality complementary services to provide benefits to members
